Acting as the procurement advisor to The Motability Foundation, developing their new Procurement Policy, Supplier Code of Conduct and Sourcing Guide - without  a  dedicated procurement capability, the Guide provides the organisation with an end-to-end self-serve process, from business requirement to contract signature, with good practice tools and techniques.

Led multiple savings and supplier management programmes at organisations to include Barclays Bank and The Co-Operative Group. 

Working across multiple indirect spend categories, built contract efficiency and savings opportunity profiles in support of Group-wide cost management programmes.

Re-insurance procurement transformation programmes.

 

Leading the procurement transformation programme at Chaucer Insurance, focused on business partnering, supplier collaboration and team collaboration. New Target Operating Model, Mission, Vision, Value Framework and organisational design. 

 

Led the Enstar procurement transformation programme, initiated with a procurement maturity assessment, and completed with a new team, policies, risk management framework, and supplier management programme. Developed a digital procurement blueprint, and ran an individual team member coaching experience.

Water company procurement transformation programmes.

 

Led the people and organisational workstream, as part of a transformation programme with United Utilities. Developed a new target operating model, organisational structure and job descriptions. Developed a business partnering framework and a supplier collaboration framework, focused on earlier and more value-adding business engagement, and driving more cost, risk, performance and relationship value from the strategic suppliers.

 

Led the procurement transformation programme at Affinity Water, orchestrating a functional maturity assessment and team capability review. Created a savings opportunity project, new Procurement Policy, and operational capability.

Led the development of the STRYDE five-year procurement and supply chain strategy, with a focus on sustainability, supply chain resilience, supplier collaboration and cross-functional team working. Working within a hyper-growth start-up required a high level of stakeholder engagement and collaborative working to position the procurement and supply chain team as a service partner to the global business.

Rail Sector

Rail Sector

Led the Network Rail organisation and people workstream as part of Europe's largest procurement transformation in 2019. Created a team vision involving over 100 colleagues, designed the new target operating model, business case, organisational design and all new descriptions. Facilitated the Union consultation process and developed a blueprint for a Commercial Academy.
